Native Hawaiian Philanthropy is excited to be hosting a large group of Native Hawaiian and nonprofit leaders speaking at the Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy - AAPIP Conference in Chicago from May 19-21. NHP is coordinating a group of 16 speakers from 12 Hawaii-based nonprofit organizations including Native Hawaiian Philanthropy, Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation, KAʻEHU, KUA, Kipuka Kuleana, Kaʻala Farms, Kuakanaka LLC, EA Ecoversity, Ekolu Mea Nui, Partners in Development, ʻOhana Hoʻopakele, and the Menehune Film Academy.
Join AAPIP in Chicago as we honor 35 years of seeding and cultivating long-term partnerships between Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities and institutional philanthropy!
Now more than ever, it is an important and powerful time to come together as a community to connect, strategize, and organize. We stand rooted in the decades-long commitment of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities working in solidarity, organizing, and building power to advance racial equity and justice. And with the recent and ongoing attacks on communities of color and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, we are ready to double down on our strategies to regenerate and reimagine how the philanthropic sector supports a future where our communities are valued, engaged, and safe.
Join us from 5/19-5/21 for this milestone gathering of AANHPI professionals, funders, and advocates to engage in deep learning, meaningful action, and community building: https://aapip.org/programs/conference/
