KŪ-A-KANAKA is a Native Hawaiian, family-owned and operated social enterprise, based in Hilo on Hawaiʻi Island, dedicated
to revitalizing Hawaiian language, culture, and traditions. Kū-A-Kanakaʻs mission is to provide quality Hawaiian culture-based
products and services, which foster a thriving lāhui (nation) by grounding Native Hawaiians in ancestral values, Hawaiian
language and traditional practices. KŪ-A-KANAKA offers culturally-driven professional development, educational consulting
and a variety of other family-oriented programs and services to learners of all ages, with a special emphasis on accessible,
culture-based education and career training opportunities for young Native Hawaiians, which bridge educational gaps and
promote economic self-sufficiency. By integrating traditional knowledge with modern tools, KŪ-A-KANAKA strives to advance
Hawaiʻiʻ
s extensive ancestral knowledge and reestablish Hawaiian control over Hawaiian affairs.

EA Ecoversity
Culture-based Education and Career Exploration Training
EA Ecoversity is a Native Hawaiian non-profit organization, based on Hawaiʻi Island, dedicated to providing culturally-driven
post-secondary education, career training, credentialing and other long-term societal benefits to ka lāhui Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian
nation). Rooted in a philosophy of Education with Aloha (EA), the program integrates traditional Hawaiian knowledge and
land-based practices with modern technology in an effort to empower learners to reach their highest potential. EA Ecoversity
emphasizes the advancement of Hawaiian language and culture, the practice of mālamaʻāina (caring for the land), and the
development of essential life and healthy living skills. By fostering economic interdependence and sustainability, the organization
aims to cultivate educated, 21st-century Kanaka (Hawaiians) who are prepared to contribute meaningfully to their communities
and a thriving, independent Hawaiʻi.

Na Kiaʻi o Maui
Na Kiaʻi o Maui is a nonprofit providing direct support services to the victims of the Lahaina wildfires. Our mission is to offer emergency relief and assistance to those impacted by natural disasters and fires in Maui County. Our team is composed of volunteers who are passionate about serving our community during times of crisis.
Na Kiaʻi o Maui is establishing the Lahaina Resource & Recovery Center. We’ll provide access to essential supplies, such as home furnishings as housing is made available, blankets, toiletries, food, clothing, and furnishings, to help victims get back on their feet.
